My
work with instrumentalists began with a graduate assistantship in the wind
division at U of I where I played recitals with all the woodwind and brass
instruments, occasionally performing at the harpsichord and in small ensembles,
and continued into wind, brass, and string studios at the Eastman School and at
SUNY-Geneseo during my faculty appointment there.
Through all of my college teaching positions, these relationships with student, faculty, and professional instrumentalists have continued to be a major part of my life. As a resident of Massachusetts’ North Shore, I continue to work with young instrumentalists under the auspices of the Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras’ chamber music program and to perform recitals with talented high school and college students throughout the area.
